Rain Team Empty
PostSubject: Re: Rain Team    Rain Team EmptyTue Jun 25, 2013 7:34 pm

Well this may be lengthy so bear with me. The first thing I see is the major electric weakness, mainly to Thundurus,Jolteon,Rotom-W etc. To accommodate for this I suggest replacing your Carracosta for a standard Ferrothorn set. Its ability to stop Grass and Electric moves makes it necessary for almost any rain team. I know that you want the ability to use Swift Swim and Rain Dance but permanent rain has its benefits so I'd replace Ludicolo fr a defensive Politoed. If you want a decent spinner I'd go with Rain Dish Tentacruel over Blastoise. Depending on the set it can also setup hazards while retaining the ability to use Rapid Spin. For Keldeo I'd go for a Scarf set with Hydro Pump / Secret Sword / HP Electric / Icy Wind with a Timid nature so you can outspeed certain threats like +2 DDance Dragonite. For now while Thundurus is still under testing I'd replace Gyarados with a wallbreaker Thundurus. A set such as Thunder / HP Ice / Superpower / Taunt or TWave could work wonders for your team. Finally I'd scrap Kingdra in favor of something that benefits rain or the team such as a Dry Skin Sub / Bulk Up Toxicroak. If you're feeling a bit unorthodox you can even add a Dugtrio for an easier time of taking out Tyranitar and Ninetales via its trapping ability.

That seems to be it;good luck with the team.
