A new Choice Item; Choice Armor

Choice Armor: Reduces damage taken by an attack by 1/2, but the Pokemon is limited to using the first attack it uses until it is withdrawn from battle.

Do you think this item would be something you would like to see in Gen 6? Is it too OP? What do you guys think.( I made the item up, i dont know if it will actually happen).

To be honest, this will be the most useless and shitty choice item ever created. Mainly because only defensive pokemon would actually use it, and locking them into a move really cripples them when they rely on switching moves to help support the team and surviving. Think about it, Should Blissey hold that item, it cant pass wishes without locking itself into it.

Imagine haxorus having this item, he would have his deadly attack stat witch is pretty good by itself, and all damage he would take would be halved.

Basically it's going to be used for multiscale except choiced.
But truly the other choice items are more effective. With Haxorus, Choice Scarf and Choice Band are more effective as its speed and attack are the primary stats he is taken advantage for.
As Gardevoir said, the only pokemon that will be using this item are going to be walls/stalls. But the problem with that is that these pokemon use almost their entire move pool to fulfill their role.
Basically, this kind of makes them worthless.
